| Associate Production Planner UT Open (J#56279) Title: Associate Production Planner Company: L 3 Communications Systems Job Description The Production Planner assists in the preparation and planning of production schedules to expedite and coordinate the movement of parts/products through the various operations in the manufacturing build sequence of intelligence, surveillance, and imagery processing high performance data link systems and products for L-3 Communications - the sixth largest defense contractor in the United States. The Production Planner interfaces with nearly every department in CSW during the execution of the production schedule. This position is highly visible within L-3 Communications as well as to outside customers and vendors. - Ability to handle stressful situations with maturity, respect, and confidence. - Strong interpersonal and relationship building abilities. - Capable of reacting to change with the ability to respond to new instructions, situations, methods, and procedures. - Update department leads and management regarding the status of assigned programs. - Coordinate workflow according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times. - Expedite operations that delay schedules and/or alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. - Track lists of required materials, tools, and equipment in the manufacturing sequence. - Competent knowledge of systems and computers to determine material configuration and job order status More... | |||
