| Associate Manager NY Open (J#55415) Title: Associate Manager Company: Avon Products Inc Job Description The Associate Manager of Demand Planning/ Forecasting and Estimating will be responsible for providing forecasting and analytical support for the non beauty estimating team. This position will impact demand planning effectiveness with supply chain, commercial marketing, campaign management and finance. Specifically the candidate will: - Provide external market assessments utilizing market research tools (ie IRI/Nielsen/NPD) for visibility to Category & Consumer Trends. - Partner with internal marketing analytics group (IMI) to leverage marketing analytics. - Supports internal analysis by leveraging Cognos Datamart, forecasting systems (ETS, IMIS), and Financial Reporting systems. - Supports Estimators by analyzing Service & Inventory KPIs to improve Estimating Department effectiveness at satisfying demand. - Builds organization effectiveness by supporting Estimator Managers with Engagement Action Plans. - Supports and continually improves demand planning processes such as Sales and Operations Planning, Key Item Review, New Product Development, late change reporting and Campaign Planning as directed. - Solicits forecasting inputs and develops collaborative processes with Commercial Marketing, Product Development, Campaign Management and Supply Chain. - Develops product demand forecasts, business insights and risk & opportunity assessments for product categories or brands as directed.
