| Associate Director Patient Access MA Open (J#55490) Title: Associate Director Patient Access Company: Shire Pharmaceuticals Status: Full Time Job Category: Biotech/ Location: Lexington , MA 02421 The Associate Director of Patient Access is an office based position that will manage a field based team responsible for providing logistical reimbursement assistance, education and support for Lysosomal Storage disorders. This individual will provide strategic direction and support for the team as they work closely with the physicians, genetic counselors, nurses, pharmacists and ancillary staff, as well as patients, families and patient organizations to prevent and address barriers to patient access. In addition to managing his/her team, the Associate Director of Patient Access will be while working with numerous internal groups such as; Customer Service Case Managers, Managed Markets, Medical Science Liaison s, Regional Business Manager s and Marketing teams to ensure that key priorities are established and cross-function strategies are implemented.
