Accentures Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR. We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition. Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office. Job Description: People within the Client Operations workgroup are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients. Client Operations is where the majority of Services people reside and, typically, people in the workgroup are based permanently at a client location. The Supply Change Management Functional Consultant reviews and develops our client's Supply Chain Management education offerings, assists in defining position and education requirements for our client's employees, helps to review/ develop current and future course content, contributes to DOD Doctrine write-ups/ changes, contributes to Change Management plans and provides defense logistics functional guidance to the team. In addition to the responsibilities above, may conduct formal classroom courses, workshops, seminars and/or computer based/computer aided training. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 5 years defense (preferred) or commercial logistics/supply chain management/distribution experience 2 years of training development and delivery experience Bachelors Degree Preferred Skills: Uniform or Civil Service experience with relevant/recent USTRANSCOM and DPO experience (desired) Experience presenting numerous briefings/ presentations regarding supply chain management/ logistics topics Experience aligning skills and training to positions Experience delivering SCM related courses Desire to learn new approaches and subject matter Please submit resume online at https://tas-accenture.taleo.net/careersection/10003/jobdetail.ftl?lang=en&job=00057206&src=jb-11144 Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
