Analyst Yield Management IL Open (J#54569) Title: Analyst Yield Management Company: Hub Group Job Description JOB SUMMARY: Develop and maintain reporting that measure performance across all areas of Hub s business. Coordinate internally with other departments to analyze the profitability of different parts of the business and fix problem areas. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Work with management to identify performance measures for use in ongoing analysis and reporting on all significant areas of Hub s business - Work with Operations, IT, and Finance groups to develop practical methodologies for calculating various performance measures - Work with Operations, IT, and Finance teams to develop and distribute standard reports for use in ongoing monitoring of company s performance. (standard operating company reports; standard business unit reports; standard monthly executive reports, etc.) - Responsible for report availability and data accuracy - Develop special purpose reports, as needed to address specific operating and financial issues - Develop and maintain report inventory of special purpose reports for use by executives and field personnel - Identify and reconcile various data integrity and consistency issues: investigate, document, and where possible, address differences across operating and financial data sources for key measures - Research and analyze the profitability of different sectors of the business (ie. customers, modes, etc) More...
