Job Summary and Scope:

Unisource Worldwide, Inc. is seeking an experienced outside 3PL Account Executive will manage, develop and grow their own territory. Responsibilities include the development of new business, management of the complete sales cycle process including: prospect identification, lead generation, qualification, pricing development, proposal preparation and presentation, and contract signing and renewal. Also maintain CRM database and log daily sales activity. Must have demonstrated success in achieving multi-million dollar sales and willingness to build territory and qualify opportunities. Ability to develop customized solutions to meet customer logistical needs is vital.

Job Responsibilities:

- Must have experience selling 3PL services. - Ability to gather appropriate customer information and analyze it in order to develop and implement effective sales strategies. - Proven ability to establish new customer relationships and open accounts that generate positive gross revenue. - Develop and maintain regional accounts through building and maintaining effective customer relationships. - Responsible for successfully implementing the sales strategy within an assigned region in order to achieve sales and profitability targets. - Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned

Requirements

- College degree in Logistics or related field - Self-confident with a strong background as a hunter of new business - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Strong computer skills - Position will require extensive travel

Experience required

- At least 3 years outside 3PL sales experience - Experience in Supply Chain services - Consultative sales experience - Requires the ability to negotiate rates, solve problems, and provide excellent customer service - Prefer related experience in a fast-growing entrepreneurial company.
