Job Title: .NET C# Developer

Reports To: Director R&D

Location: US Headquarters, Marlton, NJ

Summary:

As a member of the R&D team, the .NET C# Developer will be responsible for software development and documentation in support of select platforms, products and project activity. Along with the creation of new code, the candidate will assist in the maintenance and understanding of any existing applications.

The ideal candidate will possess broad software development experiences, including: C# 3.0 and above, Visual Studio, OOP, design patterns, Service Oriented Architecture, Acceptance Testing, Transact-SQL skills, SQL Server 2005/2008, and Windows Communication Foundation. The ability to communicate well with product owners and QA, as well as working effectively with other team members are key components for success in this position. Proven experience with system integration, API s, and interfacing with hardware devices is highly desirable. The ability to work onsite in support of customer projects is required, with most engagements ranging from 0%-20% travel.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations

Responsible for the development of software per requirements to support our customers in Supply Chain environments.

Proficiency working with Windows Forms, ASP.NET, and Web/Windows services.

Develop and/or support product integration and API s for various hardware and systems.

Experience with handheld devices, barcodes, RFID, and printing is a plus

Provide recommendations and advise PM s on projects in areas of technical expertise.

Create corresponding technical documentation per department guidelines for assigned tasks.

Analyze and assist in the maintenance of existing code base.

Desire to learn and leverage technologies outside of the .NET framework including internal platforms, products and in-house frameworks.

Willingness to travel for onsite customer assignments as they arise.

Provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues that are escalated beyond our support organization to engineering

Requirements

Specific Knowledge/Skills

2-4 years of .NET C# development.

Strong Transact SQL experience, including stored procedures, triggers, and database design

Visual Studio 2005/2008

Multi-tier, multi-threaded application design and development

Previous integration experience with external systems and/or hardware devices

Self motivated and willing to do what it takes to get the job done

Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Previous experience with supply chain and manufacturing environments a plus.
